Only when absolutely necessary! Our oil-based products are naturally self-preserving and contain zero synthetic preservatives. However, for our water-based formulations, we use gentle, naturally derived preservatives to maintain freshness and safety.
Absolutely! Our formulations are free from common irritants like sulfates, parabens, and synthetic fragrances. If you have extremely sensitive skin, we recommend doing a patch test before full application.
No! We use only natural plant oils, hydrosols, and essential oils to provide gentle, skin-friendly aromas—never synthetic perfumes or artificial dyes.
Ordering & Shipping

Orders are processed within 2-3 business days and shipped via Pargo. You can choose to:
Collect from your nearest Pargo pick-up point for convenience.
Have your order delivered straight to your home or office.
Delivery times vary based on your location, and you’ll receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.
At checkout, select the Pargo collection option, and you’ll be able to choose the closest pick-up point to you.

Currently, ZA-BAR Skincare ships within South Africa. If you’re outside SA and interested in ordering, email us at admin@za-bar.co.za for a custom shipping quote.
Due to the nature of skincare products, we cannot accept returns once a product has been opened. However, if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us at admin@za-bar.co.za within 48 hours of delivery for assistance.
